Method: Boil a pan of water. Pop in some eggs to boil for 6-8 mins depending on their size.
Meanwhile pop some bread in the toaster, open a can of sweetcorn, wash top and tail a few carrots and grab a couple of handfuls of salad leaves. And assemble on your plates.
Peel the eggs and whilst they cool a little add the gerkins and a little chutney. Hey presto lunch done in 10 minutes.
Did you know that eggs that are a little bit older are easier to peel?!
We often have lunches similar to these. I’ll have lots more salad leaves than the girls but we’re all still eating the same things.
