Fresh rhubarb from my friends garden (ours isn’t strong enough to cut much this year, hopefully next year).
I stewed this down in its own. We big people enjoyed it with my mums yummy raspberry coconut cheesecake and the girls had some alongside raspberries 😍
I love the way they pull faces when having sour things like this and then it bursts into a big smile 😀
It’s important to introduce sour and bitter tastes early in the journey of introducing solids into your baby’s diet. Don’t add any sweetness and they’ll get use to the taste surprisingly quickly and this sets them up well longer term.
