As my girls are now a year old I thought it’d be useful to have some ideas for when you’re starting out on the exciting journey that is introducing solids. So from now on I’ll try and put some of these ideas up before we serve our meals..!
Avocado is a great one to start with as the texture is so baby friendly. It’s a rich source of the healthy monounsaturated fat and like all veggies packed full of vitamins and minerals.
Here the nose is a chunk of roasted seeet potato and the mouth is roasted pumpkin (roasting really brings out the flavour).
All of these work well as finger foods and also from the spoon so how ever you’ve decided to embark on giving solids these should work for you.
