Giving breakfast a Vitamin C boost with Cramelised Pink Grapefruits

Simply cut three grapefruits in half and sprinkle a light dusting of sugar over the surface and grill until caramelised.

Although pink grapefruits are nice without the caramelised top and this means giving ‘added sugar’, at about 1/4 tsp each and with the relatively low sugar content of grapefruit I think it’s a nice chefy addition!

The girls each chose something to buy from the fruit and veg isle and this was W’s choice. I wasn’t sure if they’d like them but I do and they love other citrus thing. These were a massive hit with them both eating two halves each 😍

Maybe this will become a breakfast treat like it was for me with my dad. #goodmemories
