Celeriac humous

Celeriac humous (another from the lovely Chloe)


½ Celeriac cubed and roasted or boiled

1 Tablespoon tahini plus a bit of water if it’s the more sturdy type
1 Tablespoon olive oil

2-3 Tablespoons natural or plain Greek yoghurt

½ Garlic clove crushed

Mash or blend it all together and enjoy as you would a humous e.g. spread on a rice cake for little ones or have in a sandwich or as part of a salad or mezze plate.

It can be given soon after you’ve started your baby on solids.

The sesame in the tahini and the milk in the yoghurt are potential allergens so if there’s a risk of allergy then the advice is to introduce new potential allergen 3 days apart. See the allergy uk website for more info.
