This time I used a rounded tablespoon of yoghurt & a handful of blueberries. About 10 into quarters & microwaved the rest for 1 1/2 minutes to stew them. The latter means that the juice is released and it colours the mixture nicely 😀
I tried reducing the cook time too & am pleased with the result – lots softer. Cooked at 180’C for 10 minutes. The fingers are roughly the size of my thumb (I have quite small hands!). See my previous post for full recipe and for more ideas visit my blog at doubleyummy.uk
These blueberries are grown down the road and are lovely and juicy.
Oats is a great source of soluble fibre (called beta-glucan) which has been linked with reducing total and LDL cholesterol. This in turn may reduce heart disease. These little snacks could easily be made as bigger bars for bigger people (mums & dads!) & so great for all of the family – yummy & healthy – win win!
