Egg-citement 🐔

A double yolker 😍 what a treat. There’s always been excitement at a double yolk egg in our house, but now that I’m a twin mummy they make me feel extra happy 💖💖

Eggs are a really great source of protein and vitamins and minerals including Vitamin D, Vitamin A, Vitamin 2, Vitamin 12, folate & iodine.

There is no longer a ‘safe limit’ for eating eggs other than to eat as part of a balanced diet.

Although they contain cholesterol studies show that saturated fat has a much bigger effect on blood cholesterol levels than dietary cholesterol does. Eggs are great poached, boiled, scrambled and in loads of things like quiche, omelettes, eggy bread etc etc.

What your favourite way to eat eggs?

🍳 I’ve missed out fried eggs in my list as frying an egg increases its fat content by about 50% which is great if you’re trying to put weight on, but let’s face it most of us aren’t so if frying try a spray oil in a non stick pan.

These eggs are about to jump into my quiche. Yummy 😍
